Unit 4 Students Participate in Free Concert
Free concert opportunity for Unit 4 families to hear the Lithuanian Boy Choir sing in Champaign on Wednesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. Some of our Unit 4 students who are part of the Central Illinois Children's Chorus will perform one song with them.
Dagilėlis, an internationally acclaimed choir from Šiauliai, Lithuania, is comprised of young men, ages 10 to 19 years old. The choir has entertained audiences around the world since its founding in 1990, performing in concert halls in Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, the U.S., and many other countries. The choir has been honored as the 2015 grand prize winner of the “We are Children of Lithuania” competition and the first prize and Golden Award winner of the 2014 International Choir Festival Competition.
