Monday, August 21 Central Will Dismiss Early

Due to the projected forecast for tomorrow's temperature, Champaign Central High School will dismiss at 1:05 pm. tomorrow, August 21, 2017. Athletic and band practice schedules will follow high-heat guidelines.  Coaches and directors will communicate with participants about any changes to their schedules. Yellow buses and MTD will be available for bus riders.  

Board of Education Approves Alison Hampton, Dr. Howard Assistant Principal

Ms. Alison Hampton was selected as the Assistant Principal of Dr. Howard Elementary.

Central and Centennial Graduates Recognized for Biliteracy

Congratulations to the Central and Centennial graduates who received the State Seal of Biliteracy for their work in the 2016/2017 school year. The State Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who achieve a score of 4 or better on the AP exam for his or her target language and at least a score of 21 on the ACT. Congratulations to these students for receiving this incredible honor.

Champaign Unit 4 is seeking applications for membership on the Education Equity Excellence Committee (EEE) that will discuss equity issues in the District in areas such as academic progress, special education, gifted, AP/Honors, the Academic Academy, attendance rates, discipline rates, and graduation rates.
