Champaign Wal-Mart Honors Kenwood Teacher With Teacher Of The Year Award

Technology Integration Award Winners Announced

In early April, the Information Technology Department provided a grant opportunity for all Champaign Unit 4 teachers using funds of the Title II-D Enhancing Education through Technology (EETT) Grant.  Each teacher applicant wrote a proposal in the hopes of receiving an interactive whiteboard (Smartboard) and mounted digital projector.  Teacher applicants were asked to address:

Ronald Bode Selected As Principal of Centennial High School

The Champaign Unit 4 Board of Education hired Ronald H.Bode of Lake Villa, Illinois as principal for Centennial High School.  Mr. Bode will replace current principal Judy Wiegand, who will become the Director of Secondary Curriculum for the District.

Dr Howard Principal Selection

The Champaign Unit 4 Board of Education hired Sheila Kathleen Donis of Jasonville, Indiana as principal for Dr. Howard Elementary School.  Donis will replace current principal Frances Burley, who is resigning to join her husband Ecomet in La Marque, Texas, where he has accepted the position of superintendent.
