Champaign Unit #4 Schools are comprised of 18 campuses serving students in grades pre-K through 12. Our diverse school community boasts students hailing from 77 different countries, speaking more than 80 different languages.
Our Champaign Early Childhood Center provides students with a supportive learning environment where all children succeed. Our 11 elementary schools offer a solid academic foundation and include three magnet schools with unique themes and offerings. Our three middle schools offer rigorous coursework and social support to prepare students in grades 6-8 for success in their high school years. Our two comprehensive high schools – Central and Centennial – prepare students for post-secondary success by offering more than 15 Advanced Placement Courses and a wide offering of career and technical programs. Our third high school, Novak Academy, supports high school students who may be struggling academically in a more intimate learning environment with the goal of returning to their home high school.
Our District is also committed to revitalizing, building, and maintaining facilities that are safe, sustainable and allow equitable access to programming across the District. With a focus on energy efficiency, technology, and serving the community, we are working to provide top-notch facilities to students on every campus.
