ARP ESSER III Fund Plan

Purpose 

The American Rescue Plan (ARP or ESSER III) provides states and school districts with funds to safely reopen and sustain the safe operations of schools, while also addressing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on student learning. 

Process 

Champaign Unit 4 solicited feedback and engaged stakeholders through a series of listening tours that were public meetings and open to all stakeholders. Additionally, Unit 4 posted a public survey to gain stakeholder feedback. 

Unit 4’s Use of Funds Plan 

Equity/Accountability 

Through the engagement and consultation with varied stakeholders on an ongoing basis, Unit 4 will strive to ensure that these funds are planned and utilized to respond to the social, emotional and academic needs of students, particularly those disproportionately impacted by Covid.
