Last night, Centennial hosted its AVID graduation at Siebel Center for Design. Keynote speaker, Diamond Walker, is a U of I and Unit 4 AVID grad. She was accepted to 50 colleges her senior year and chose to do great things here at U of I. Next week, she will head to Florida to work for DOW JONES as their only intern in media. She still uses her graduation gift to take CNotes in classes. She credits AVID for helping pave the way.
