Dear Kenwood Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you have all enjoyed your holiday break with your family! Just a couple of reminders that students start back on Wednesday, January 10th. Teachers will be participating in professional development on Monday and Tuesday. This coming week we will also be sending home report cards at the end of the week. You should expect to receive your child(ren)’s report cards via email.

Morning Drop Off
Just prior to break, I have received concerns regarding drop off in the morning for car riders. We hope to reset our drop off procedures to ensure the safety of our students. Stratford Drive is a one way street during both arrival and dismissal. A barrier will go back up to avoid interference with buses in the morning and afternoon. If you are dropping off your student in a vehicle please pull up to the cone to maximize our drop off space. We also request that you remain in your vehicle to ensure the efficient and safe drop off of our students. If you require more time please pull your vehicle in front of the cone in the circle drive. If you are using the small parking lot by our Gym do not wait in the street as this blocks traffic for parents driving down Stratford Drive. Thank you for helping to keep our students safe and to help make our arrival more efficient.
