Dear Kenwood Families,
Happy Friday! This week we were excited to welcome parents this past Monday for NAAPID as we enjoyed having parents join us for Breakfast and Lunch. Thanks to all who were able to join us as we always enjoy having your presence at school and a highlight for our students. On Monday, school will not be in session as the district recognizes President’s Day.
Kindergarten and Returning Student Registration (Feb. 27th through May 30th)
The district registration process will begin on February 27th. For Kindergarten students registration will take place at the Family and Community Engagement, 703 S. New St. Families can call 217-373-7311 to schedule an appointment or drop in during office hours.
Beginning January 30 until March 29th, 2024, students and teachers across Illinois will have an opportunity to participate in the eleventh annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of our school. As a parent/guardian, this opportunity will allow you to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness in a survey about Kenwood.
