U4 Power Moment: To celebrate the 100th Day of School at Carrie Busey Elementary, Principal Nock, Assistant Principal Alexander and their team made 100 positive phone calls to families regarding their amazing students!
Join Unit 4 Schools in celebrating Black History Month during February 2025. Throughout the month, we will dive deep into the District’s connection to Black history (Did you know that three elementary schools are named for Black leaders?). Our schools will host events and other special activities, including NAAPID (National African American Parent Involvement Day), which is held annually, on February 10th. Edison FLS students participated in the Basketball Individual Skills Competition in Rantoul as part of the Special Olympics tournament!
One of Edison's students earned 1st place and is now headed to the state tournament while several others placed! Go Comets!

Some culinary students at Central High School donut have to worry about their final grade in the Nutrition & Culinary Arts II Class! They completed a vigorous three-week project where they developed a successful food truck business. Six food truck teams competed using themes that included Breakfast, Dessert, Tacos, Egg Rolls, Pizza, Sandwiches or Wraps. The team with the highest NET profit (profit minus start-up costs) won the competition. This is another great example of students experiencing real-life skills.
