Wishing everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day!

Thank you for your patience as we work on this issue.

Unit 4's Multilingual Language (MLL) Department and ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessment) collaborated for a celebratory end-of-the-school year picnic. Nearly 300 MLL students and their families joined us for food, games, and fun at Hessel Park. There were free books, Kona Ice snow cones, face painting, lawn games, as well as a raffle for a cultural basket and a bicycle. Thanks to all who made this a huge success!

If your student will be returning to Unit 4 Schools for the 2023-2024 school year, be sure to register them today! A snapcode was sent to your primary guardian's email address a few weeks ago. Use this to complete the registration process. Deadline is June 23rd. Contact your school with any questions.

More classroom tours next week! If you would like to see inside our classrooms and meet our staff, or would like to tour more classrooms before you register, please let us know when/where you would like to attend at the link below.

On this day each year, the nation celebrates the incredible Food Service staff who work tirelessly every day to ensure students receive the nutrition they need to succeed in their academic day.
Did you know that School Lunch Hero Day was created in 2013 by Jarrett Krosoczka, a children’s author and illustrator? It's a day to honor and recognize the hard work and dedication of the individuals who prepare and serve nutritious meals to students in schools nationwide.
From preparing and cooking to serving and cleaning, these amazing heroes go above and beyond to ensure every student has access to healthy and delicious meals. They are truly our schools' unsung heroes, and we are so grateful for everything they do. 🥇
So join Champaign Unit 4 in thanking all of the School Lunch Heroes out there! Your hard work and dedication make a difference in students' lives every day. You truly are superheroes in our eyes!
